Even more than fitting in regular exercise, if there’s one thing that most people seem to struggle with, it’s diet. Making good choices when not-so-good choices are much easier, faster, and – let’s face it – often tastier, is something most people have a hard time staying on top of. Taking the time to be prepared, making the right foods, knowing what to buy when you’re in the store, knowing the best things to give you energy for your day and your workout…it’s a science that can you leave you frustrated and exhausted. So for a lot of us, if it’s true that you “are what you eat” then we might be in trouble.
Thankfully, there are those who choose to study this science and make it their goal to help the rest of us learn what we need to know. To bring that advantage to our students, we’ve arranged for a nutritionist, Jorie Janzen, to come in for a free 1 hour seminar. The seminar will take place this Thursday, April 28 at 7:20pm (directly after the second class) and will be about 1 hour long. Even if you can only stay for part of the seminar, it is well worth sticking around or dropping by to get some tips on something that is so important. Also, if you are a current Kwest member and you haven’t had a chance to check out our Nutritional Guide, ask us about it and we’ll pass it along.
With out a proper diet, not only will your workouts suffer and your results not be what you hoped, but your day-to-day life isn’t living up to it’s full potential. I know I could use some help in this department so I will definitely be listening closely – hope to see you there!
(note: Sorry – this seminar is only free to current Kwest members).
