I felt it necessary to reinforce my theory on running as it pertains to conditioning fighters. I believe and always have believed that running is absolutely crucial for preparing fighters for combat. Renowned fitness expert Joel Jamieson posted this article with his theory on LSD vs HIIT/Tabata. I have followed some of Joel’s training methodologies and was really happy to see that he has evaluated this issue from a practical standpoint, with some irrefutable view points. I also believe that HIIT training is very important and should be used in conjunction with running in your training regimen.
