It’s a lovely feeling when Friday rolls around and I get to cross off another week of my challenge as complete! This week started rough for me, but I’ve got my Muaythai mojo back in check and I feel like I had a successful week. I plan my whole day around my kickboxing classes these days, from having clean gym clothes, planned meals, sleep, water, adjusting my work schedule to make classes, etc. Kickboxing is my first thought when I wake up in the morning and when I’m falling asleep at night and I even find myself “dream practicing” my kicks and punches until I actually wake myself up from my body twitching. When you do something enough, it starts to become all you think about.
For the remaining weeks of my challenge, I’ve been given a more rigorous workout schedule, (ha as if I wasn’t working out like a maniac already) which will consist of double classes every Mon, Wed and Fri, regular classes Tues, Thurs with a 3 mile run prior to those classes and just for fun why not add in a boxing class on Saturdays. Sounds fun right? You want in don’t you? Sounds like a lot of hard work, and even less time for life, and I can tell you I don’t have much wiggle room left to give anything else up. My apt has definitely seen tidier days and now I suspect its gonna get even worse before it gets better. Kelly tells me I need to sleep more too, but when am I supposed to sleep? The sad truth is there just aren’t enough hours in each day… And to all my people I love so much I promise I will see you again May 1st, and thank you for understanding my desire to successfully complete these insanely difficult and time consuming challenges. Only 3 more weeks to go!
