Level 2 - Entrance Test
To give credibility, set a minimum standard, and ensure the safety of students a test has been developed for all new students coming in to Level 2. If a student has not been in class for 6 months or greater he/she must re-test to gain entrance once again. . Student must receive a passing mark of 90%.
If you fail the test on the first attempt you will be given another opportunity the second attempt will cost $35.00. The Kru will develop a plan which focuses on student's weaknesses and helps him/her have a stronger performance in the next testing attempt.
How do I arrange the entrance test:
-
Watch a couple of Level 2 classes
-
Talk to Kru Kelly
-
Set up a time to meet and go over the your technique before you take the test
-
Set up a time to take the test. It usually takes 1 hour.
What is the Kru looking for in a Level 2 student?
-
Mental Attitude - The student must have the correct mental attitude to gain entrance into Level 2. Respect being paramount in every aspect of their training.
-
Dedication - a student must attend at least 50% of the Level 2 classes in a session. Some exceptions will be made but if you are not capable of training 50% (1 class a week) then you are putting yourself in danger. Students with an ongoing issue in not meeting attendance will be transferred back to Level 1.
-
Good Basic Skills - The student must have a really good set of basic skills, it is unacceptable not to be able to execute any of the techniques listed in the entrance test at a very high standard. If you cannot do any of the techniques in the test you should continue to practice them in Level 1 and ask your Kru to help you with them.
